www.HITSummit.com (the Web Site) is sponsored by the International Health Information Technology Summit (the Congress). The Web Site is designed to provide you with information regarding upcoming, leading-edge healthcare conferences, tradeshows, internet-based programming and events related to the synergies emerging at the confluence of the New Sciences-genomics and biotechnology-with the New Technology-supercomputing, robotics, nanotechnology and the Internet. The Congress Privacy Policy explains how we may collect, use and aggregate personal information about you on the Web Site. The Congress respects your personal privacy and is committed to protecting it.

Your Acceptance of These Terms

By using the Web Site, you signify your acceptance of the terms of the Congress Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of the Congress Privacy Policy, please do not use the Web Site and exit the Web Site immediately. For each visitor to the Congress site, the Congress servers automatically utilize a "hit" counter and record the IP address or domain name. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the Web Site. Your IP address and domain name are anonymous (they do not reveal your personal identity) and are not shared with any third party.

Request for Information From the Congress

The Web Site provides you with the opportunity to request information regarding the Congress and related conferences and educational events. We use this registration Contact Information to e-mail you material about the Summit and promotional material regarding related upcoming conferences. You may opt to receive such information by providing your name and e-mail address in the Dialog Box on the "Home Page" and "Contact Us" page on the Web Site. We use this Contact Information to e-mail you material about the Congress and promotional material regarding related upcoming conferences. You may opt out of receiving such information upon receipt of the e-mail message, and/or you may opt out at any time by sending us an e-mail (see the "Opt-Out Procedures" section below.)

Submission of Conference Registration and Payment Information To the Congress

The Web Site permits you to register and pay on line for attendance at the Congress and related educational events. The conference registration form requires you to give us personally identifiable information, which includes your name, title, address, phone, fax and e-mail address (Contact Information). You may also make payment for conference registration through the Web Site by submitting credit card information (Payment Information). We use your Contact Information from the registration form to send you information about the conference(s) for which you have registered and promotional material regarding upcoming conferences and events and may license this information to third parties which offer comparable content information regarding health care practice and policy. You may opt out of receiving such information upon receipt of the subsequent e-mail messages, and/or you may opt out at any time by sending us an e-mail (see the "Opt-Out Procedures" section below). We do not disclose Payment Information to third parties. We do share Contact Information with associations, organizations and publications which sponsor the Congress and other related healthcare conferences, tradeshows, audiconferences, internet-based programming and training, and events.

Links

The Web Site contains links to other sites. The Congress is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites, including any sites that may indicate a special relationship or partnership with www.HITSummit.com, such as co-branded pages and "powered by" relationships. The Congress does not disclose Contact or Payment Information to those responsible for the linked sites. The linked sites, however, may collect personal information from you when you link to their site. This collecting of information is not subject to the Congress' control. To ensure protection of your privacy, always review the privacy policy of the sites you visit by linking from our Web Site.

Security

The Web Site has security measures in place to protect against the disclosure, loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. The Web Site uses VeriSign Secure Socket Layer in order to encrypt the transmission of Payment Information.

Notification of Changes

The Congress Privacy Policy may be revised over time as new features are added to the Web Site or as Internet security and privacy standards evolve. We will post those changes prominently so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it to anyone. We do, however, recommend that you read the Congress Privacy Policy each time you use webmaster@HITSummit.com, in case you missed our notice of changes to the Congress Privacy Policy.

Correcting and Updating Information

The Congress also permits you to correct or update Contact and Payment Information that you have previously provided to us. To do so, send an e-mail to webmaster@HITSummit.com indicating the information that you wish to be corrected or updated.

Opt-Out Procedures

You may always opt-out of receiving future mailings or e-mails from us. To remove your Contact Information from our database, and to cancel future communications, send an e-mail to webmaster@HITSummit.com with the word "remove" in the subject line.
